Big Bass 3in1: three fishing games that actually work together
When a game promises three experiences in one download, my first thought is usually that all three will be half-baked. Big Bass 3in1 mostly proved me wrong. Each of its three fishing modes has its own feel, and together they give the app more staying power than I expected from something this casual.
The timing mode is the purest one: you wait for the bite, tap to hook, then manage the reel-in without letting the line snap. It's tense in a small, pleasant way. The second mode is more of a trip, letting you pick spots on a map and manage your bait, which adds a light planning layer. The third is a quick arcade race that's perfect for a one-minute break.
Controls stay simple throughout, which is exactly what a game like this needs. Most actions are a single tap or a short swipe, so I could play comfortably with one hand. Nothing about the interface fights you, and switching between modes takes two taps.
If I have a tip, it's to spend a few rounds in the timing mode first. Learning the reel rhythm there makes the other modes click faster, since they share the same core feel. Big Bass 3in1 isn't a game you'll obsess over, but it's a genuinely relaxing one to keep on your phone for idle moments.
