One mode is a timing challenge where you tap to set the hook, another is a longer trip where you manage bait and pick spots on a map, and the third is a quick arcade-style catch race. Switching between them keeps the whole thing from getting stale.

Controls are about as simple as it gets. Most of the game is a single tap and the occasional swipe to reel, so it works fine one-handed on the bus. The pacing is gentle rather than tense, which suits a game you dip into for a few minutes. I appreciated that the interface stays clean and doesn't bury you in menus.

What surprised me was how satisfying the reel-in animation feels once you get the timing down. It's not a deep game and it won't eat your evenings, but as a low-stress thing to unwind with, it does its job well. The three modes together give it more variety than most single-idea casual apps.
